We’re looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to be the human voice of Profiled Nigeria engaging the public, listening, responding fast, and fostering trust in every interaction. You’ll build vibrant online communities that learn, share, and protect one another from scams.
Manage daily posting schedules and content deployment across all social platforms.
Respond quickly and empathetically to comments, DMs, and scam-related crises.
Collect user stories and feedback, and relay insights to the strategy team.
Build and manage trust-driven communities on WhatsApp, Telegram, and X Spaces.
Conduct social listening and online research around trending scam topics. Host live discussions, AMAs, and Q&A sessions that demystify scam tactics.
Fast, empathetic responses that build audience confidence.
Engaged online communities that educate and empower one another.
Strong trust perception; people see Profiled Nigeria as “the go-to safe guide.”
Proficiency with social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Threads, Tiktok, YouTube).
Experience using social analytics tools (native insights, Meta Business Suite).
Familiarity with community management and moderation tools (Telegram, WhatsApp Business, Discord ).
Excellent communication and writing skills; clear, concise, and emotionally intelligent.
Ability to identify trends, tone, and moments that drive engagement. (Bonus: Experience managing social listening or sentiment tracking tools.)
A people-person who loves genuine conversation and problem-solving.
Emotionally intelligent communicator with great online etiquette.
Team player who can collaborate with designers, writers, and strategists.
Curious about digital culture, social trust, and community behavior.
